COINMAMA Beginner Guide

If you want to learn how to use Coinmama, you have come to the right place.
When I was trying to get started with Bitcoin back in in 2017, the youtubers kept telling me to buy crypto on Coinbase and on Binance but the problem for me was that bitcoin wasn’t simply BTC on those cryptocurrency exchanges, and was called other things like XBTC or btc/usdt.

Coinmama was my go-to platform to buy Bitcoin and popular cryptocurrencies fast when I was just starting out.

How To Use Coinmama

Learning about Bitcoin and understanding how Bitcoin works can be overwhelming at the beginning.

And sometimes all you want to do is to find a fast, easy and SAFE way to buy bitcoin.

Bitcoin (BTC) is easily identifiable.

Step 1: Sign up to Coinmama

Just go to Coinmama.com and create an account

Step 2: Verify your account

Most centralized cryptocurrency exchanges require identity verification. (KYC)

The larger the amount, the more verification required.

The good news is that you can skip this step the next time, unless you buy more crypto.

Step 3: Choose the amount of Bitcoin

This is the easy part and should be a walk on the park if you are used to travelling or using foreign currencies during your holidays.

Step 4: Check out

Another easy step –

Step5: Add your personal wallet address

Coinmama does not store user cryptocurrencies on its platform like Binance.

This also makes it safer and users are less vulnerable to hacking (crypto jacking)

You can buy Bitcoin directly with your Debit Card, Credit Card, Bank Transfer and ApplePay.

Final Thoughts

When I was trying to get started with Bitcoin back in in 2017, the youtubers kept telling me to buy crypto on Coinbase and on Binance but the problem is that on one hand you had to buy Bitcoin somehow and then use that Bitcoin to exchange for other altcoins.

And when I went onto cryptocurrency exchanges, they would have five different types of Bitcoins ranging from yellow to black.

What’s great about Coinmama is Bitcoin is BTC and rest of the other cryptocurrencies are represented by the symbols they are supposed to.
